Cut & Paste -Developing FIne Motor Skills in Kids

Saturday morning here, rain has stopped, pool is still seriously green ‘n slimy… mmmmmmmmmm must get in touch with pool man while we have some rain-free days…

Been up since early, having decided to create a cut & paste activity book for little people and have been doing some research. This is a summary of what I have come up with.

Fine motor skills can be defined as small muscle movements: those that occur in the finger, in coordination with the eyes. Teaching fine motor skills is similar to teaching other skills because the instructor must always try to be patient and understanding. Fine motor skills won’t develop over-night, but with time and practice. So off I go to be inspired on cutting & pasting activities, pre-writing, lacing etc…
