Eat, drink and be merry, and get paid for it – #Homebiz #WAHM #OnlineBusiness

  1. Eat, drink and be merry, and get paid for it.
  2. Take online survey and get paid $75 per survey
  3. Participate in a focus group and get paid $150 per hour
  4. Read emails for cash payments
  5. Email Processing Homebiz, The Email Processing Giant.

The Verdict is not out on this one yet but the concept seems to be a relatively simple one for folks who have time on their hands and need to supplement their income.

I have taken the plunge and will report back on what I find.  In South Africa with the ZAR/$ being favorable to the USA, the UK and Australia, this is definitely worth a try…  Anyone else have any experiences they would like to share?

Hitting #SouthAfrica with a bang! Shoes For Planet Earth Collect for #PetroSA #MosselBay Township Development Race-The Gift of Giving

Posted in donnette e davis on August 13, 2014 by Donnette E Davis

Shoes for Planet Earth is a charity that changes lives through the gift of a pair of pre-loved running shoes. www.shoesforplanetearth.com and https://www.facebook.com/ShoesforPlanetEarth

It was incorporated in 2009 in Sydney Australia but Viv Kartsounis and Nick Drayton, both ultra-distance runners. Viv is now called The Shoe Fairy and her passion is the charity.

Viv is a ‘Maritzburg girl who grew up with Comrades on her doorstep and Nick, an Australian, just loves to run.

It all started when they were running the Comrades Marathon in 2009 from Pietermaritzburg to Durban. There was so much poverty along the route that they decided to do something about it.

Being runners and with a large network of running friends they were able to get their first box of pre-loved running shoes together, which they sent to an small rural community in KZN.

With transportation costs so high Viv and Nick soon realised that they would only be able to distribute shoes around Australia; to the homeless, to drug and alcohol addicts, to natural disaster victims, indigenous sporting groups, church groups, orphanages and anyone in need.

For international distribution they would have to rely on donated funds, which are not easy to find.

The charity has expanded rapidly over the years and have to date given away 20,634 pairs.

Shoes are collected from running clubs, sports shops, gyms, schools, clubs, families and anyone who wants to help.

The charity operates all over Australia and well as donating pre-loved running shoes to eight African countries, including South Africa. They also give shoes to eight countries in the Asia Pacific region. With shipping costs so high the aim is to have shoes collected and redistributed within the same country, so shoes collected in South Africa and given back to the people of South Africa.

This is what is hitting South Africa with a bang!! Pre-loved running shoes are being collected throughout the WP for the Township Development Race for MosselBay on the 23rd September. They are aiming to collect 1300 pairs of used running shoes to give to the participants in this race!! http://twitter.com/petrosamarathon

The future of our country is being authored now; you and I can play our part in rewriting history for the generations to come.

We may not have millions to give away, we may not have 67 years to devote to public service but your old pair of shoes could carry a dream to fulfilment.

We are running a drive to collect as many pairs of used running shoes as we can for #ShoesForPlanetEarth campaign. You can find out more about their work here: http://www.shoesforplanetearth.com/

Our hope is to give young talented children and young adults across the country a shot at attaining their dreams as athletes regardless of their present circumstances.

We would be more than grateful if you could please spread the word to athletes, family and friends about this campaign.

Shoes will be collected at races in the WesternProvince and we will be happy to collect or arrange an alternative drop off point wherever possible. May you please assist by posting this on your social media pages so we can help change our nation, one young athlete at a time.

Remember our journey to a better nation needs shoes and we hope to collect 1300 in 30 days, and we won’t be able impact 1300 lives without your pair.
